What is naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health which combines scientific understanding and the belief in the body’s innate ability to heal. It uses natural therapies such as herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, diet and lifestyle to support the body to heal itself and restore wellbeing. Emphasis is placed on identifying and managing the causes of disease as well as addressing the symptoms. 

Naturopathy works to support the body's healing powers, and can be effective in the management of a wide range of conditions.

  • Immune conditions such as - infections, chronic fatigue syndrome, and allergies

  • Digestive problems such as - constipation/diarrhoea, reflux, liver conditions, bloating, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel disease (IBS), gall bladder and liver conditions

  • Skin problems including - psoriasis, eczema, and acne

  • Mental health and cognition issues - depression, anxiety, poor stress tolerance, poor memory and insomnia
